In the fourth quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Bulgaria saw varied performances among the top contenders on the Android platform. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps exhibited different trends in terms of downloads and user engagement.

TUDA — order a ride experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads throughout the quarter, starting at around 1.6K and dropping to approximately 882 by the end of December. Despite this, the app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, fluctuating between 7.5K and 8.3K.

For Bolt: Request a Ride, weekly downloads initially hovered around 1K but saw a gradual decrease, ending the quarter at about 461. Active users also saw a decline, starting at 6.3K and dropping significantly to around 3.4K by the end of the year.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent download rate, averaging just under 500 downloads per week. Active user numbers showed slight fluctuations, peaking at 8.3K in early December and ending the year with a similar user base.

The newly launched Go2 Ride-Sharing demonstrated initial growth in downloads, with numbers rising from a modest 8 to 582 in late November. However, this trend did not sustain into December, where downloads fell sharply.

Finally, Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery saw modest download numbers, starting at 67 and rising slightly to 97 by the end of the quarter. Active users steadily increased, reaching over 1K by the end of December.
